My name is Kristina DuBose, I dont really have a nickname, but can call me whatever you like, I dont really care. I live in Buford, GA, I just turned 18 in May, and still live with my parents, but if I could afford it I would love to move out. I work at Publix, a grocery store, thats pretty much only in the south. I graduated high school last year. I'm not in college right now and im in no hurry to start.

When im not working, I'm with my friends, sometimes my family. I love to paint, and read. I love fall weather, so im always outside this time of year. I have a park behind my neighborhood, and its the perfect place for walks, and quiet time! I have one tattoo, its on my foot, its in hebrew, and it says "God is by my side." I love it, i love tattoos, and i want atleast three more. My little sister is my world, thats probably going to be the hardest thing for me when im gone, is not being with her. she is almost 7, and when i told her about the trip she cried! I'm praying school and her friends keep her distracted while im gone. I'm easily distracted, and very sarcastic. that could be a good or bad thing... I love photography! and being creative. I would rather sit and have legit conversations, than go out. i like lazy days, when i can sit around in sweats and watch movies. It really bothers me when people dont use their blinkers while driving. and im terrified of clowns.. im not really sure why, they just freak me out.

Ive been on three mission trips, twice to Tijuana Mexico, and once in panama city, florida. In mexico, we built a house on both trips, made hundreds burritos and brought them to orphanages, played with a bunch of kids and showed a lot of Gods love. (1 John 4:8)  In Florida, it was actually my last trip with my youth group, we worked at a place that donates uniform clothes and play clothes to kids in need in the area. We also hung out at a homeless shelter where i me the most AMAZING people, and got the chance to pray over and talk to a stranger about Jesus for the first time!!!

I'm excited about EVERYTHING to do with this trip. I know God is calling me to do this. The only thing that concerns me is ive never been away from my friends and family for more than a week, but God knows whats in store for me so im trusting him! After reading into this stuff, i know this is going to be hard, physically and mentally, but I'm SO up for the challenge!
