I feel lead to encourage our team! I dont know if any of you are struggling with this same thing as me but I am being bombarded by negativity. I am really trying to not let it get me down and so far i am doing great but i just wanted to encourage you guys! I dont want you to become discouraged and decide not to go on our trip. I have told a lot of people about our team and i even got to have an article in the local paper about human trafficking and our trip... Wednesday i will get to go on the morning show here in Kansas and share more about everything. My problem is that so many people have posted things online where the article is and they have contacted me on facebook just telling me how stupid we are. They have said a lot of and im sure you all have heard some of the same things. A few of these comments were even from my family.

Here is some of what i am hearing;

-You are arrogant to think you can do anything for these victims.

-You are going to be useless to them, they are stuggling with things you cant imagine.

-Your far too young and naive.

-This is suicidal you might as well sell your self into human trafficking.

-Your American you should help Americans not people in Thailand.

-And so many stinken more!!

REALLY? It is overwelming to feel so unsupported. And so i wanted to encourage everyone. What we are doing is incredible and we were called by God to be where we are going to be. Ya we will be in Thailand but what difference does that make. Are we so much better than them? Are they not children of the King? Are they not worthy of the love that we know so well from our savior? It just broke my heart that so many people would be against what we are doing... If you guys feel discouraged think about the little girl that is going to hear that she is beautiful for the first in her life without having to do something to hear it. Think of all the lives that are going to go from hopeless to having a new found hope in Jesus! Just rememeber how bright the light of our sweet father is going to shine in a dark place. 

 Jesus said people will hate you for loving me and when they persecute you they are persecuting me. 1 peter 3 for it is better to suffer for doing what is right then to suffer for what is doing wrong! 

We are walking in the light! Exactly where we should be. Praise God that we heard His still soft whisper and are going to do what He wants from us!

Love you guys already. I dont know if this encouragement was more for myself or if it helps you guys at all but i just needed to post it!
